Ice skating at Millennium Park
Details
It's officially ice skating season ❄️. Let's get together at Millennium Park rink to skate, hang out, and swap tips and tricks.
Details:
• We'll skate the 1:00 - 2:30 pm session. Please reserve your ticket ahead of time here (there's a chance they might sell out if you wait until day of). It's free if you bring your own skates or $20 with skate rentals.
• Let's meet up at 12:45 pm to give us a few minutes to meet each other while lacing up for the session. We'll meet on the east side of the rink, by the "Millennium Hall" sign that's below the bean. I'll be wearing red sock hat and black clothes. I'll also give everyone a sticker to wear to help meetup attendees know who else is there for the meetup. If you get to the rink after we've hit the ice, find me via my red hat and sticker, and I'll give you a sticker.
Getting there:
• via CTA: take a train to one of the following stations in the Loop and then walk a couple of blocks east to Millennium Park rink: Lake (red line), Washington (blue line), Washington/Wabash (all other lines).
• via car: the Millennium Lakeside Garage are located directly underneath Millennium Park.
