Discoveries: Hear & Be Heard: Participate in the Creation of New Music
• What we'll do Through our free and on-going series, Discoveries: Hear & Be Heard, Fulcrum Point New Music Project connects emerging composers with the passionate public and engage them in lively dialogue about the creative process. The featured compositions are performed by musicians from Fulcrum Point's distinguished ensemble, giving life to the composers' intentions. Audience members and musicians enter into a dialogue about the composers' inspirations and explore how music communicates feelings and concepts in the most effective manner. Afterwards, audience and musicians share their insights, impressions, and feelings at a reception with wine, soft drinks, and appetizers, allowing everyone to mix, mingle, and deepen the artistic exploration. What we're about

Public Group

Meet others who love the classical music! Attend concerts and events at locations throughout Chicagoland!

We recently had a new leadership group more in. The first thing I did upon taking the Organizer role is choose a qualified and classical-savvy co-Organizer. The second thing I did was read the group reviews. I am going to endeavor to make every event I attend one in which the group is easy to find and there is social time planned before and/or after the concert.

Stay tuned, and please provide any ideas that come up! If you know of a new event, feel free to contact any organizer so they can designate an event coordinator and post it to the group.
