What we’re about
Welcome to ChicagoVeg – Chicagoland Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw Foodist Community.
ChicagoVeg is the largest Chicagoland community for vegetarians, vegans, and raw foodists to socialize and meet like-minded people. We organize a range of fun activities and educational events in the city and the suburbs. Whether you are vegan or not vegan, we welcome everyone who is interested in a vegan/vegetarian/raw lifestyle for any reason - ethical, environmental, health, or spiritual. We support a nonjudgmental community where everyone can feel welcome to express their opinions, socialize, and have fun! Some of the fun activities include the following: vegan food potlucks, exchanging vegan recipes, dining out at local vegetarian/vegan/raw restaurants, lectures pertaining to the veg*n lifestyle, and outreach events that promote a vegan lifestyle. We see the importance of educating others about advantages of veganism/vegetarianism, and we believe that a continuous education and supportive community are vitally important to sustain a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle.

Join us for delicious plant-based meals, share your favorite recipes, discuss living a healthy vegetarian/vegan/raw food lifestyle, support green/eco living, and make new friends!Everyone is welcome!
Join us to hear about and to participate in our upcoming events!

This is our 12th year supporting the Veggie Fest! We plan to enjoy it even more this time!
While we setup the meetup at noon so it could be easier for everyone to meet each other next to ChicagoVeg booth, we won't have it as a regular/formal meetup, so you can also come at any other time to say Hi and to hang out at our booth (even next day!) The festival hours: from 11 AM to 8 PM on August 9 (Sat.) and August 10 (Sun.)
The parking and the festival admission are free!
Please help us at our booth during the festival! Regardless if you can volunteer just for an hour or for all day, your help will be greatly appreciated! It can be at any time during both days of the festival. If you are willing to help us at the booth, please send a message with possible time of your availability via ChicagoVeg.org/contact
Looking forward to seeing you all at this great event!
