A few people have asked me to do another dawn chorus walk so here it is.

I plan to do it on Sunday 17th May, but plase note this will be very dependent on the weather. This is a bit later than I would have liked but it’s the only free day I have and there should still be some birds singing.

We will arrive on site at RSPB Pulborough Brooks at 5:00am, just as light is starting to break. We can wander around the reserve and listen to the incredible bird song and see what we can see. For those who are interested, I can teach you how to ID some of the singing birds and can tell you more about the reserve and the consevation work we do there.

We will then make our way back to the visitor centre for some tea, coffee and breakfast pastries.

Although it could be warm during the daytime in May, it is still pretty chilly in the morning, so please wear plenty of layers. Please also wear some sturdy footwear for walking.

If you have binoculars, do bring them. I should be able to provide a few pairs for people to borrow.
