Leo will talk about the campaign to build The Nest, the Chichester Festival Theatre’s new performance space – a sustainably minded, 120 seat mini theatre dedicated to emerging talent and community groups.
Chichester Festival Theatre has an award-winning Youth Theatre and a trailblazing LEAP (learning, education and participation) programme. However, to make more opportunities for newer performers and community participants, creating a smaller theatre space will makes an important addition to the CFT’s already busy pair of stages. Planning and fund raising for this 1.5 million pound project has been a major undertaking as we learn from the Nest’s appeal manager, Leo Powell.

Leo Powell is the Nest Appeal Coordinator as well as Trusts and Foundations Manager at Chichester Festival Theatre. Before CFT he spent over five years working at Chichester’s marvellous Pallant House Gallery.
