Katan-Ensor & Schlicht Family Preserves 🌿

Hello everyone, we will meet at the trailhead at 10:00 AM to explore these two Connecticut hidden gems !
This moderate hike may be only 3 miles, but you will get your exercise. We will start on the blue trail up to the bench overlooking the forest 🌳 following the yellow trail over streams and past rock walls & glacial erratics, will lead us to Mountain Brook Falls.
Continuing on the yellow trail will take us up to the amazing Scarlet Tanager Summit Overlook for an amazing view.
Hiking poles are recommended, please carry plenty of water and snacks and wear proper hiking attire ( No Jeans and sneakers) and as always, we start as a group and finish together. Hope to see ya on Sunday
