Day Trip to Oxford

Saturday 31st October — a day out in Oxford. Meeting at Reading Station at 11:30 to catch the train up together. No fixed itinerary. The plan is to wander, see where we end up, and find somewhere for lunch and a drink along the way. Expect colleges, bookshops, the covered market and a pub or two. It's Halloween, so Oxford will be lively — worth knowing if you'd rather a quiet day out.

Train tickets: buy your own, and a group ticket may work out cheaper if a few of us book together — worth asking in the chat.

Getting back: trains run regularly, so leave whenever suits. No pressure to stay for the whole day.

Bring comfortable shoes and a coat.

Easy one to come to alone — you'll have the train journey to get talking before you even arrive.
