Executive Function Hacks for Neurodivergent Pet Parents
Details
Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by pet care? Do you worry that you are not keeping up, or that you are not doing enough for your pets? Are the daily chores hard to do consistently? You are not alone.
This workshop is for people who love their pets deeply, but struggle with executive function for any reason, whether that is ADHD, depression, or just a season of life where everything feels harder than usual. The good news is: pet care does not have to feel like a constant battle.
I have years of experience working with pets, including medically and behaviorally challenging ones, and I have lived with four pets for the past seven years. I am also diagnosed with ADHD, so I know firsthand how much cognitive load pet care can create. Over time, I have developed practical tricks and simple principles that can make pet care much easier to manage.
In this session, I will break those ideas down into clear, realistic systems and hacks you can start using right away to reduce overwhelm and care for your pets more consistently. There will also be an optional Q&A at the end if you have specific questions!
