Welcome to Childfree Winnipeg Women! 💛 A warm, close-knit community of childfree women in Winnipeg, founded in 2021. Over the years, we’ve grown into a fun, safe, positive space where women can connect, share experiences, and build deep, meaningful friendships. Many members also connect outside of Meetup for coffee, games nights, potlucks, karaoke, and other social hangouts — making this more than just a group, but a true social hub for childfree women in Winnipeg to belong.

Try us out! 💛 - New members receive a 30-day free trial, giving you the chance to attend a couple of events and see what our group is all about. Membership is just $10.99 USD per year - less than $1 USD per month to be part of this amazing community! The membership only exists to cover the cost of using Meetup.

Whether you’ve decided not to have children by choice (childfree) or due to circumstances beyond your control (childless), you’re welcome here! Our group is largely childfree, but childless women are definitely included. This is a supportive, respectful space to be yourself — childfree, fabulous, and celebrated.

We meet 2x per month, offering events that encourage great conversation, laughter, and connection, often with good food and fun activities.

### Group Policies

To maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment, please review our policies:

1. Eligibility: This group is for Childfree and Childless women only. Childfree means you have chosen not to have children and are happy about it. Childless refers to women who do not have children due to circumstances beyond their control.
2. Childfree Clarification: Childfree does not include women who plan to have children in the future, empty nesters, or parents without full custody. Women who are stepmoms, have not had children, and identify with the childfree community are welcome.
3. Women Only: This group is exclusively for women (cis, bi, lesbian, and trans women are welcome). No men are allowed.
4. Responsible Drinking: If alcohol is involved at an event, it is your responsibility to arrange safe transportation (ride, cab, Uber, or public transit).
5. Event Conflicts/Suggesting Events: Do not post ideas for events within an existing event page. You can use the discussion board to share fun event ideas.
6. Respect Others: Be considerate, kind, and inclusive in all interactions.
7. No-Shows: Members who RSVP and fail to attend events 3x in a row without notice may be removed from the group.
8. Policy Enforcement: Members who do not adhere to these policies, or who are not actually childfree will be removed.
