Welcome to the Childfree Winnipeg Women meetup group! This group is an amazing place for Childfree and Childless women in Winnipeg to connect. 'Childfree' means you have decided to not have children - now or in the future, are are not a parent and never plan to be a parent. And you're pumped about it!!!
Childless refers to those who don’t have children by circumstances out of their control. Our group is largely childfree, but childless are definitely welcome!

We meet around 2 times a month and do a variety of things together. Deep, meaningful friendships are our goal so a lot of our events allow for good conversation, and good food!
Before you join, please read our group policies below:
1. Eligibility: The group is for Childfree and Childless women only. Childfree means anyone who has decided not to have children and are happy about it. Childless refers to those who don’t have children by circumstances out of their control. Our group is largely childfree, but childless are definitely welcome!
2. The group is for women only - no men.
3. Childfree doesn’t mean you haven’t had kids yet but plan to, or that you’re an empty nester, or a parent who doesn’t have full custody.
4. Drink Responsibly: It is your responsibility to arrange for safe transportation at events. If you plan to have a few, you need to arrange for a ride, cab, Uber or public transport.
5. How to share event ideas: you can post ideas in a comment on the main group page, or send the event organizer a private message.
6. Do not post event ideas in a comment on an existing event page. Double check the event does not conflict with an already scheduled event.
7. Be respectful and considerate of others in the group.
8. If group members do not adhere to these policies, or are not actually childfree or childless, they will be removed from the group.
