Join us for Conversations Over Breakfast!
-------------------------------------
*****RSVP Note** ***
You must RSVP for this event. If you do not update your RSVP before 9 PM on the Tuesday before and then no-show, we may restrict your ability to join in the future. These gatherings will be limited to 8 attendees total.
---------------------------------------

Each week, a new prompt will guide our conversation - from esoteric questions like "What is the reason for our existence?" to personal insight questions like "How are you impacted by the divide between conservatives and progressives?" to discussion of recent news stories.

Please be sitting at our table and ready to start discussions at 7:15 AM. Prompted conversation will wrap up around 8:30 am.

Because some of the topics will get real, you MUST agree to community agreements for this event (see below) before RSVPing.

Community Agreement:
To keep this space welcoming, thoughtful, and meaningful, all participants agree to the following:

  1. Respect Comes First
Speak to others with kindness and respect—especially when you disagree. Attacks, mocking, or dismissive language are not welcome at the table.
  2. Curiosity Over Convincing
This is not a debate club. Come to listen and understand, not to win arguments or change minds.
  3. Everyone Gets a Seat at the Table
Share the space. Be mindful of how much you speak and make room for quieter voices.
  4. Speak From Your Own Experience
Use “I” statements rather than generalizations. You are responsible for your own perspective, not speaking for others.
  5. Confidentiality Is Key
What’s shared at the table stays at the table. Stories and personal details are not to be repeated outside the group without permission.
  6. Discomfort Is Not Danger
Some conversations may feel uncomfortable—that’s part of growth. However, anyone may step back or opt out of a discussion at any time.
  7. No Hate, No Harassment
Discrimination, hate speech, or harmful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  8. Open Minds Required
Come willing to examine your own beliefs and accept that your opinions may shift—or stay the same—with deeper understanding.
  9. Prompt-Focused Conversations
Each gathering centers on a shared prompt. Side conversations and derailments will be gently guided back to the topic.
  10. Care for the Space
Arrive on time when possible, silence phones, and help maintain a cozy, present atmosphere.
