About the book: Piranesi is a 2020 fantasy novel by Susanna Clarke, author of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, about a man living in a vast, labyrinthine House filled with statues and an ocean, who documents his world through journals until he uncovers a shocking truth about his identity and the House itself. Told from the perspective of the innocent and meticulous narrator, Piranesi, the story unfolds as a mystery, exploring themes of memory, identity, and isolation.

We decided to have everyone bring items that remind them of fall to swap within the group (Example bring 10 small pumpkin scented candles). Everyone will put their items in the middle of the table and everyone will grab 1 item so you leave with the number of items as there are people attending.

We will also start posting people’s “Getting to know you” form when it’s their birthday month but as always- you do not have to participate if you don’t want to or aren’t able.
