YOUTH BIBLE STUDY

You are invited to join our online YOUTH bible study!

At Beloved we feel it's important that we engage our youth in an unhindered way and free from harmful theology. After reading scripture together, youth will be invited to open their imaginations and wonder. Seminary-trained adults will also provide historical context and biblical scholarship from ancient and modern perspectives to encourage critical thinking about the scripture passages. Everyone can expect freedom to engage in the way that feels most comfortable: listening, talking, questioning and wondering. Curiosity is welcome.

We are also interested in cultivating a community of young people who feel safe to be themselves! Through music, spiritual practices, arts and interactive games we hope to encourage creativity and connection.

Beloved Youth is open and affirming of all expressions of God's beautiful creation including gay, straight, lesbian, bi, non-binary, trans, queer and questioning. We are curious about faith and practices of traditions beyond ours, and welcome others who are curious about Christianity and our holy scriptures. We are interested in expanding our biblical literacy skills. We are not interested in proselytizing.
