Coffee & Code - Saturday

Event introduction
Bring your laptop, get a brew and start working on your project in good company. This is an event for Saturday morning early-birds who like a productive and social start to the weekend.
Who you are
Please note this is a general-purpose tech meet-up. Feel free to join, if you are:
- Working on a project / learning about a topic that is tech or tech-adjacent
- Keen on getting help / input from, or just socialising with other tech-folk
- Nice and respectful of everyone present, regardless of background, chosen tech-stack or current skill-level
Agenda
- 09:00, Meet up: We meet at the location, I'll see about getting us a table
- 09:05-09:15, Introductions: We let everyone introduce themselves. Who are we, what are we working on and is there something we would like some help / input on?
- 09:15-11:00, Work on projects: Once everyone has been introduced, we simply start working on our projects. But everyone should feel free to at any time:
- Ask questions / Get Input
- Discuss technical topics
- Just socialise
I'll wrap up at 11:00, but those who are keen should feel free to stick around .
Venue
We are meeting at Foyles bookshop, Charing Cross: https://www.foyles.co.uk/shops/london-charing-cross-road
They have a coffee shop on the top floor and browsing the store is a nice pass-time if you need a break. I'll be standing by outside the building as they open, as I'm trying to get us a good spot and we can't book a table. Once I find a table, i also have a little sign with the title “Coding Meetup”.
Additional info
- I'm hoping we can get a good spot with power outlets, but since I can't book a table you're better of coming in with your laptop fully charged
- As you may note I'm keeping number of people that can join the event on the lower side: I'm still learning the ropes of hosting events and I am currently trying to gauge interest before scaling up.
