Are you over 50 and looking to connect with others in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere? This group is perfect for those who enjoy dining out, attending music events, walks, picnics, theatre, cinema outings, and more! We’re all about creating a warm, laid-back environment where members can unwind, chat, and enjoy good company.

Here’s what to know about joining:

• Membership is $20 per year, due January 1st or within a month of joining. Check your direct messages for banking details after joining.

• Anyone who attends two events as a plus one must join as a member prior to attending another event

• To help with identification of members and create a friendly vibe a clear profile picture of the member or at least part of their face is required.

• Chill n Chat is about friendship and shared experiences so both singles and couples are welcome. This is not a dating group.

• Most events will be held in the area around Templestowe, Doncaster, Eltham, Greensborough, Heidelberg and Ringwood however we will venture out of this area occasionally. We are always open to suggestions to hold events outside this area.

• If you have a suggestion regarding an event or location, please discuss with Madeleine.

• Although this is a mixed group there will be men only and women only events held occasionally.

• To ensure people on the waitlist don’t miss out and that correct final numbers are provided to the venue, please update your rsvp as soon as possible if it changes.

• Selling products and promoting businesses within the group is forbidden

• Please let your host know if you prefer not to be included in photos taken at events. Before taking a photo, please check with anyone who will be in it that they’re happy to be included, as some members choose not to appear in photos.

• We reserve the right to disqualify members who continually do not change their rsvp to not going for events when no longer available to attend, cancel on the day of the event or behave inappropriately

• Participation at events is at your own risk so please ensure they are within your physical capabilities before attending.
