Welcome to a grass roots art group - you get to do you're own thing, it's all good 👍👍

I've decided to create this for like-minded people who are a bit shy with their artwork, perhaps just starting out or prefer a quiet space to create 🎨✍️

The Golden Guinea has a cosy downstairs area - a heady aged atmosphere to help draw (pardon the pun) inspiration to create your artwork.

There will be no pressure to show personal artwork to others. No egos just very chilled and relaxed. I am happy to share my material - paper and pencils, etc. Also feel free to bring your own equipment.

I'm limiting numbers to 10 people to minimise noise and distraction.

There is an outdoor seating area as well if the weather is nice 👍😊

Any donations towards the running of the group would be very much appreciated - but only give what you are comfortable with 🤗😊

Experience the magic 🎩 of plants 🪴 in various habitats - including Mediterranean, Tropical environments, natural sculptures and water features .....

Set within an Arts & Crafts residence there is lots to see 👀 making this an ideal visit for photographers, artists and nature enthusiasts 👍😊

Chandos Deli (local company, albeit a bit pricey) is on site for food and refreshments.

Start time - 1pm with a waiting time of 15 minutes (I can't hold the crowds back! 😅😆)

A green 🌳 snippet of history awaits as we visit Vassell's Park aka Oldbury Court Estate ...

It's prominence dates back to 1066 but it won't be a domed day (bad pun🙄😄). Expect beautiful landscapes and amazing camera moments.

There is good provision available on site, including toilets and a coffee ☕️ shop (lovely chai lattes 😋😊).

We will spend as much time as needed and, weather dependent, to explore the grounds. Please expect slopes, steps and uneven surfaces. The River Frome nestles in the heart of the park. Please dress comfortably with flat shoes.

I will provide a handout which will include key historical points for anyone interested.

£1 per person attending is asked to help sustain the group - this can be given by cash or PayPal.

Enjoy an afternoon of goats, boats and possibly soggy coats (hopefully not 🤞😆) as we venture around Bristol's Sea Walls area overlooking the Avon Gorge 🌁

Expect long views and drops (gulp!). We will be stopping at intervals for photos and chats. There apparently is an ice cream 🍦 van (hooray!) and public toilets 🚻 in close proximity 👍

The walk is weather dependent on duration and what people would like to do. We have Stoke Bishop or Clifton Down as possible extensions to visit.
