Our meetup location is by 'Royal Fort House ~ Stuart House' sign which is located on the crossroads of Tyndall Avenue and Woodlands Road. If you have any queries regarding the location please do message me in advance! I will include photos of the location to help but without a helicopter 🚁 to land you I can't do much more 🤷‍♀️ 😆 😆

The queen of quirk is back to provide you with yet another hidden Bristolian gem 👏 🙌 .....

Royal Fort Gardens is a historically rich city garden. From the civil war bastions following onto the smoke chain of ownership to the Wills' tobacco family.

Skipping forward to today we will enjoy a Jeppe Hein Mirror Maze and 'Hollow' sculpture by Katie Peterson.

From here we will wander onto a historical victorian swimming pool, the Bristol Lido, for a small plate meal (to be confirmed - will need definite numbers to proceed).

Once we are finished we will move onto Steam Bristol - a grade II listed former railway station building. The back has a car park and active train links. Please note - Steam Bristol is currently closed but is do to re-open 21st January 🤞🤞😊

There is a lot to unpack here. Bristol Lido meal is subject to availability and firm numbers.

Itinerary as follows as a guideline:

• 1-1.30pm Meet by Royal Fort House sign
• 1.30pm Enjoy Royal Fort Gardens via Convocation Walk
• 2.30pm Head towards Bristol Lido
• 3pm Small Meal booking at Bristol Lido
• 4pm Head towards Steam Bristol

Estimated finish time of around 6pm but this is very flexible.

Please do check that this event is a good match for you. This event will be finalised once I hear back from Bristol Lido but it is out there to seek interest 👍😊

Please do attend with peace, kindness and a sense of fun. Repeated failure to contribute £2 will lead to removal from the group as it is not fair on others or myself.
