Chilled Day Hike - Folkestone to Dover – 15th June 🌞😎

Join us for a stunning coastal hike from Folkestone to Dover along the breathtaking white cliffs!

### Travel Details

We'll catch the 09:54 train from London Bridge to Folkestone West (one change at Sevenoaks).
📍 Meeting Point: Benches next to The Body Shop at London Bridge Station at 09:40.
🚆 We’ll head to platform 7 at 09:45 and arrive in Folkestone West at 11:27.

### The Hike

We'll walk through Folkestone town, then up a hill to the chalk cliffs and take in the stunning sea views. It’s a hilly route, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed, along with sturdy footwear.

### Break & Return Journey

Towards the end of the hike, we’ll stop at the pub for food and drinks before heading to Dover Priory Station for our return journey.

### Train Tickets

Return ticket to Dover Priory (Folkestone West is en route): £31
Please buy your tickets in advance.

### What to Bring

✅ Comfortable hiking shoes – trail shoes or light boots recommended
✅ Windbreaker – the weather can be unpredictable!
✅ Small backpack – water, snacks, and essentials
✅ Optional snacks – nuts, fruit, or energy bars

⚠️ The cliffs are made of chalk and can erode, so please take extra care near the edges.
⚠️ This is an informal group hike, and Michelle is a friendly volunteer, not a certified guide. Participation is at your own risk.
