PART 1: TALK, INSIGHT & ADVICE FROM MUSIC INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS
For the first part - you'll be able to grab subsided drinks and listen to insightful talk and advice given by music industry experts followed by a Q&A Session chaired by JD Donovan. A range of music topics are covered includung: What determines a successful pop song? How can new artists succesfully launch a music career and maximise their income? What tools and marketing channels should they use? How does the music industry & streaming apps like Spotify optimise the symphonies and melodies your hear? To make it is successfully in the industry as an artist today do you really need to sacrifice your musical integrity, depth and creativity and "sell out" like the majority?

Second part will follow with networking drinks and all genre open mic (with either backing track or you play piano, guitar or another instrument while singing or raping). If you want to perform - you'll be able to sign up on the night to do your thing but slots are limited so put your name down early!!
As well as people in the music industry on the creative side (musicians, DJs, singers, producers & song writers etc) there will be peeps there working in the industry on the commercial side such as strategists, product managers, record company executives, A&R. And lastly students from the music school putting on this event also attend so the age group will be from 18 to 50. This will also appeal to anyone that loves to hear new music and artists and those interested in commerical & marketing strategies in the music industry, personalisation and music related product development.
After the end of the official netoworking and the bar closes, some people usually gor a drink in the pub next door for more music conversation & networking
The event will take place at Music Box at the London College of Creative Media campus Music School set up by Myleene Klass & Neil Coyle.
