What Was The Most Engaging Story/Article You Read This Week?

There are not many careers (accept in the military/defence) where people put there lives on the line for their jobs - whether in a war zone or as an undercover reporter in pursuant of the truth - Journalism is one of them. If you're interested in what goes on in the world with a truth lens backed up by the best empirical evidence and not just groundless opinion and are well read & informed on a range of subjects such as current affairs, science, economics, music, psychology, politics, , medicine, philosophy, neuroscience, cosmology and everything else that affects all of our lives then this will be for you.

As well as those working in related industries such as media, journalism, strategic research, TV, writing, books/publishing, radio, print, photographers, authors & bloggers, the walk will also appeal to constitutional, criminal and civil Lawyers/Barristers

The free tour will be led by a former Fleet Street Correspondent and founder/broadcaster/presentator of a radio station with an undying passion for objective, unbiased and evidence based journalism in the pursuant of the truth. We'll tour the natural home of British journalism, broadcasting, printing press & publications since the 16th century and surrounding areas where some of the biggest news stories were broken.

They say Journalism is a drinker’s game - so as well as taking in the sights and sounds of where it all started - we'll also visit some famous pubs frequented by reporters that interviewed and sourced breaking stories off the record that ended careers, yeilded jail time and brought down entire governments!

We'll also pass some hidden theatres (including where Shakespeare performed), houses of famous writers and and other landmarks in this remarkable multi century historic part of London.

Yep as well Shakespeare, we'll visit the home of not so famous actors where great oratory takes place daily changing history, lives and the laws we live and die by.

Fleet street area is also home to world famous law courts where some of the biggest well known civil and criminal legal rulings and sentences were delivered including Jack The Ripper, Boris Johnson's unconstitutional prorogument of parliament, Sony music stitch up of George Micheal and the Kray's brothers.

This multi dimensional thought inspiring tour will end with drinks in a pub close to Kings Cross frequented by journalists and TV & radio broadcasters.
