We continue our series of autumnal walks with this one starting from the picturesque, pretty flint and red brick village of Hambleden which sits surrounded by beautiful views and woodlands. We start from the village and follow the Hambleden Brook to take the route to Harcham's Wood, the Chiltern Way then cutting through Heathwood and Homefield Wood returning back to the village via Pheasant's Hill. Throughout the walk we are offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside and experience of rich beech woodlands. The village is mentioned in the Doomsday Book and features a 14th Century church.
This is a moderate walk (approx 7miles total ascent 675ft) but with some hilly sections as expected in the Chiltern Hills!!!
We shall have a short lunch break so pls. bring packed lunch, snacks and water.
