Walk in the Chilterns National Landscape around Saunderton cum Bledlow Ridge

Start the New Year with a "new" walk in the beautiful countryside surrounding us !!
This walk combines routes previously used in walking part of the Ridgeway National trail and the Chilterns Way with varying landscape in the National Landscapes (Chiltern AONB).
Our walk starts from Saunderton station car park and heads up towards Slough Hill before levelling out all the way to the bottom of Lodge Hill. We change our direction here towards Chinnor Hills enjoying the beautiful views and the countryside., before ascending to Bledlow and the Ridge. Hopefully, we will catch a glimpse of the alpacas on the path on the way down for the return to the start.
Distance approx 7 miles - moderate, total ascent 740ft, some hilly sections.
We shall have a short lunch break so pls. bring packed lunch, snacks and water.

The fee for the walk is £5 in aid of Sightsavers who provide treatment for trachoma,cataracts and eye related issues for children and adults, thus providing them and their family an opportunity for a better quality of life.
