Dollis Valley Greenwalk & Mill Hill Village – Country Hike

Walk length 10miles/16km approx or 6miles/10km approx (Circular).

A circular hike exploring a route close to some beautiful north London open spaces including the Dollis Valley Greenwalk, London Loop and Mill Hill village. The hike passes Darland’s Lake Nature Reserve and runs along parts of Dollis Brook a tributary of the river Brent and the River Thames.

The hike has a halfway point close to green spaces and a pub. The end point at Totteridge and Whetstone is close to a number of pubs and eateries.

The terrian is gently undulating and flat close to river sections.

Meeting

Meet outside the main entrance to Totteridge and Whetstone underground station for the hike to start at 11.00am. Totteridge and Whetstone is on the northern line so you can use Oyster card.

Car: Parking near Totteridge and Whetstone underground. Side roads close to the station may be free on a Saturday, please check for restrictions and allow time to park.

The walk should finish at about 4.30pm including a snack lunch stop and optional pub stop at the end , however the time may be earlier or later than this depending on the weather and pace.
