Cadmore End, Turville and Turville windmill

Cadmore End, Turville and Turville windmill

Details

Lovely circular walk in the heart of the Chilterns that proceeds through quiet, undulating and off-the-beaten track landscape of rolling hills with some steep sections. The feeling of remoteness is further reinforced by the the village of Turville which is largely unchanged and apparently timeless with its distinctive and interesting church, tucked away in a quiet valley.
We will be walking up to the Windmill (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) from Turville Hill and hopefully stopover at the Barn for lunch!
Approx 8 miles – 4 hours
