Flat Rock Conservation Area & Fitchburg Northern Watershed

Join Chris & Josiah for an easy +/- 5-mile hike through the Mass Audubon's Flat Rock Wildlife Sanctuary and adjacent conversation lands.

Please do NOT go the Audubon's Ashburnham Hill Rd entrance. There is limited parking there. We will instead be meeting behind Burbank Hospital on Burbank Rd. GPS coordinates are 42.59943221562396, -71.8052836844067.

Directions
Drive up Burbank Hill from Mechanic St/Rte. 31. Drive past the front of Outpatient/No Urgent Care entrance, keeping the building on your left and the downward slope of the hill on your right. There's a slight S-curve in the road and then drive straight (slight right) into a parking lot area as if you're driving into the woods. Ahead you will see a sign kiosk which is the entrance to the trails.

What to bring/ware
Light snacks, water, appropriate outdoor apparel and footwear, and bug repellant.

Afterwards
After the walk, I can suggest a local restaurant for lunch we can all go to. The location may depend on the size of the group.
