Update (as of October 22): It looks like it’s going to a slightly chilly 60 degrees on Sunday but it’ll be sunny with little wind. A good day for a hike!

It’ll be a moderately easy 2.5 - 3 mile LGBTQ hike through the odd and interesting wooded area of Gloucester MA known as Dogtown. (This has been co-posted with three other area LGBTQ groups.)

"Five square miles of wild, historic woodland spanning Gloucester and Rockport — Dogtown's glacial boulders, colonial cellar holes, and engraved Babson Boulders make it Cape Ann's most fascinating untamed treasure."

Anything more then a light drizzle will cancel. No rain date is planned.

Directions Section:
Use "84 Cherry St Gloucester MA" on maps or GPS. This will get you to the intersection of Cherry St and Dogtown Rd. (It’s a small little road. There’s a brown "Dogtown Commons" sign at the turn.)

Drive up Dogtown Rd about 500ft and you’ll see a small parking area on the right with the trailhead (the meeting spot). If that parking is filled up drive back down to Cherry St and park on the opposite side of the street from the houses (pull up onto the shoulder). Walk back up to the trailhead.

We'll meet at the trailhead at the small lot on Dogtown Rd. I'll be wearing a beige ball cap.
