Two walks from the same location today, giving you a choice of either walk or combining them for a full day of walking.

Our morning walk from Wigginton offers a mix of history, countryside views and art. Please bring a packed lunch.

We begin by heading downhill past the Obelisk and Summerhouse into Tring Park, once part of the Rothschild estate. Yes, kangaroos and zebras once really roamed here! From there, the route winds through fields and woodland along the Hertfordshire–Buckinghamshire border. We'll break for lunch at Cholesbury Camp and the remains of the ancient Iron Age fort. After lunch, we continue through quiet lanes, woodland and keep an eye out for some unusual sheep in fields of Cholesbury Bottom.

The walk finishes back at the playing fields in Wigginton. If time allows, there’s the option to stop at the local pub for a drink before heading off or continuing with an optional afternoon walk.

🐾 Dogs on leads welcome
