Sunday Walk from Hyde Heath to Chesham Old Town

This is a refreshing rural route of 7.8 miles from The Plough pub in the lovely village of Hyde Heath outside Amersham and Chesham. This walk takes us through several woods, a plantation, meadows, and the Old Town of Chesham, plus bridleway paths in the heart of the countryside. Walking time approx. 3.5 hours.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs, or free if this is your first walk with me.

After the walk there's the option of staying for a chat, drink and/or food at The Plough pub in Hyde Heath.

Free Parking
There's plenty of free parking in the area around the pub.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
