Details

This is a picturesque evening walk of just under 4 miles, across the delightful woodland tracks of Chorleywood Common and onwards, with views across the hills, down into the Chess Valley to enjoy stretches along the (hopefully shimmering) River Chess, before returning via Chorleywood House Estate, back to The Black Horse, which was once used as a filming location for Jonathan Creek. Walking time about 75 to 90 minutes.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs, or free if this is your first walk with me.

This is a joint walk with the Scenic Walks in the Chilterns group.

After the walk there's the option of staying for a chat and a drink at The Black Horse.

Free Parking
There's parking on the lane alongside the pub.
