Tuesday Evening Walk from The Hen and Chickens, Botley, Chesham

This is a scenic evening walk of just under 4 miles of countryside with great views across the rolling hills of the Chess Valley. Starting from the curious olde worlde Hen & Chickens pub at Botley on the outskirts of Chesham, we'll make our way to the bridleways of Bottom Lane, Pump Lane and Trapps Lane, and to St George's Church on Tyler Hill. This is a joint event with the Scenic Walks in the Chilterns group. Walking time about 75 to 90 minutes.

The price for the walk is £2 to cover costs, or free if this is your first walk with me.

After the walk there's the option of staying for a chat and a drink at The Hen and Chickens pub.

Please note that this walk is not led by a qualified leader and, as such, isn't covered by insurance. Be sure to wear suitable boots and clothing. The organiser cannot be held responsible for any injuries, however caused. Members are expected to take responsibility for their own preparation and safety including adequate fluids, weather protection and a snack. Please be sure to make me aware if you have any medical conditions.

Dogs are welcome as always but please be mindful to keep them on leads for roads and around other animals. These events are not for children.
