🧙‍♀️ CYW are swapping walking trails for winding tales—just for the evening!

Calling all lovers of enchantment, epic journeys, and spellbinding storytelling! If you delight in tales of transformation, fierce women, and ancient gods, you’re in the right place. This Halloween, we’re diving into Circe by Madeline Miller—a hauntingly beautiful read that’s perfect for the season.

🎃 What to Expect:
Each month, we post the featured book for our upcoming meeting right here. You can read it at your leisure or listen to the audiobook while stirring your cauldron or strolling through fallen leaves. Come to the meeting ready to conjure up a lively discussion!

📖 Our Current Read:
This month, we’re sailing beyond the shores of myth with Circe—a tale of empowerment and transformation. Whether you’re new to Greek mythology or a seasoned Olympian, Miller’s lyrical prose will cast a spell on you.

🍷 Where We Gather:
We’re thrilled to announce that The Harte & Magpies pub just outside Amersham will host our meetings. To show our appreciation, we ask that attendees purchase at least one drink during the event.

🍕 Hungry for more? The pub offers a delicious selection of pizzas and hearty meals, all made in-house with local ingredients. You can check out their seasonal menus on The Harte & Magpies website.

🧛‍♀️ Costumes Welcome!
Since our meeting falls near Halloween, feel free to channel your inner goddess, nymph, or mythical creature. Nothing too elaborate—just a nod to the magical mood.

🧙‍♂️ Limited Spaces:
Our meetings are capped at 20 participants. If your plans change, please update your RSVP so someone else can step into the circle.

So join us for an evening of myth, magic, and meaningful conversation. Happy reading 🎃
