Moderate 4.9 miles / 7.9 km circular walk | 228m ascent - with a steep hill

This is the second of two walks from Princes Risborough today, so come for either half or combine them for a longer day out. We finish with a proper workout: a steep climb up Whiteleaf Hill, passing the white cross cut into its slope and skirting Brush Hill nature reserve, with views reaching all the way to Didcot on a clear day.
From the top we drop back down through Chiltern beech woodland to The Plough at Cadsden, one of the country's best-known pubs after a former Prime Minister famously left his daughter behind there, for a well-earned drink. Unlike him, we'll make sure everyone's accounted for before we set off again. From there we continue on to Pulpit Hill nature reserve before returning to Princes Risborough along the Ridgeway, with beech woods, open hillside, and wide Chiltern views throughout.
