Enjoy the last day of summer with this linear afternoon walk going from Hemel Hempstead to Berkhamstead with not just one but two pub stops!

We start at Hemel Hempstead station, going south through Sheethanger Common until we get to Bovingdon, where we will have our first pub stop. We then go west through rolling fields until we get to the canal, which we then follow into Berkhamstead when the walk ends, and there's opportunity for another after-walk pub stop for those that want to.

This is a linear walk, which means that once we're finished you will need to return to Hemel Hempstead on the train - so far there is no engineering work planned that could cause issues but if there is any changes I will update here.

Parking at Hemel Hempstead train station is £7 for the whole day, or there is a car park next door for £3.50 per day.

Well behaved dogs welcome, but you must take full responsibility for them throughout the walk and they must remain on a lead at all times.
