Our guest will be Nature and Culture International:
Nature and Culture International is a 501c3 non-profit conservation organization headquartered in San Diego with a strong on-the-ground presence in Latin America.
http://www.usgreenchamber.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/nature.jpg We work to conserve rainforests and other endangered habitats that contain high levels of biodiversity by partnering with local governments, communities and indigenous groups, and by building local capacities. We work to promote a change strategy in which: on-the-ground action protects key ecosystems; local and regional governments adopt conservation policies; impoverished communities establish sustainable income generating activities; and ecological ethics enter the culture -- making nature’s permanence possible.
In our 15 year history we have saved more than 8.7 million acres for conservation. More info here (http://natureandculture.org/)!
