Dia de los Muertos Procession

The 2019 parade will gather on 6th Street, between IH35 and 6th Street. The parade route is approximately 3/4 mile and lasts for 1 hour.

**There will be specific disassemble instructions provided to parade participants.

Street parking is available near the parade staging area. You can return to your car via walking, cab, pedicab, or Capital Metro Bus. Additionally, Capital Metro MetroRail service is now available until midnight on Saturdays.

The 2019 Viva la Vida parade will bring together a vibrant and varied mix of the traditional, contemporary, and Austin “Weird.” The Procession includes costumes, props, live music, dancers, and floats. Parade participants are encouraged to wear costumes and face paint according to a series of categories.
