Lucky Bamboo Mahjong Club - Beginners Welcome!

The $10 fee can be paid in Venmo to PetrineTX (photo of the QR code is in the group photos) and will be used to maintain the space, provide snacks and drinks, and purchase more mahjong equipment. The class will take place upstairs on the second floor of a building with no elevator. If you will need assistance, please let us know in advance and we will make accommodations. Gameplay will take place downstairs in an accessible room. Thank you.

Learn how to play Hong Kong-style mahjong in a relaxed setting. We're opening up our space to seasoned and beginner players! For beginners or those needing a refresher, an introductory mahjong presentation and demonstration will be given at the start of every hour (7 PM and 8 PM). Most people are able to play (and win!) mahjong on their own after this presentation.

This is a fun, chill spot for professionals to network over a game of mahjong. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks for yourself or to share.

This is first come first served. Show up early to ensure you get a chance to play!

$5 parking at Mandarin Plaza across the street (let attendant know you're staying late) or street parking! (free after 8pm!)
