• Event Overview
Part 1 To Learn
“Food is the God”, a saying that every Chinese is familiar with, probably including little children that barely know how to write. It shows how important Food Culture is in China. The popularity of “A Bite of China” around the world proves that we share the passion for food globally. In the world of food culture, we decide to take on a rather unusual topic - “Smelly”, some particular delicacies from China and Sweden have in common. Start with Surstromming, we will lead the way to show you where the Chinese and Swedish food culture connects and then talk more on linguistic and cultural points that is definitely worth knowing.

To meet ever-evolving needs in learning Chinese, we will invite well-qualified Chinese teachers to share their pioneering understanding of Chinese learning and innovated teaching methods with us in our meet-up events, hoping to ignite new sparks between these fresh teaching concepts and Chinese & Swedish languages. We are also looking to establish an “Experiment Theatre” with these events in terms of culture exchange. We will invite talents from different sectors to share their stories and to bring us an authentic first-hand taste of Chinese and Swedish culture.
Norine的小院 is a lovely little cafe that kindly offered us the space for free. We will be very grateful if participants of our event could support us by having something to eat or drink here in the café. The café offers light food, coffee, alcoholic and soft drinks at very good prices.)
All friends who are interested in Swedish or Chinese are welcomed.
We will see you here at 6:45pm. Early arrivals are encouraged!
