New Trail Creation in the Chippewa National Forest

The NCTA Star of the North chapter is building new trail in the Chippewa National Forest to eliminate a road walk along Highway 6 north of Remer. This trail will eventually connect with new trail the Arrowhead chapter has been working on. The work trip will include clearing trees in a corridor that is flagged and creating new trail tread. Hand tools will be used for this work. Safety gear and training will be provided. Come join the group for one day or all three (Monday-Wednesday). Free camping at the Schoolcraft State Park Group Camp will be available as well as breakfasts and suppers. Send a message if you have any questions and please RSVP if you can come.
