The Chisel and Chat Sculpture Social Club is a gathering space for anyone interested in sculpture, whether you are a professional artist, a hobbyist working from a home studio, or simply someone who appreciates the craft. Our goal is to move beyond the isolation of the studio by bringing together people who share a passion for working in three dimensions. We meet regularly to talk shop, share our current projects, and discuss the technical challenges we encounter with different mediums like clay, stone, wood, or wire.
We aim to keep our gatherings relaxed and conversational. You do not need to bring a finished masterpiece to attend, just an interest in the process and a willingness to share ideas with others. Whether you are looking for advice on a tricky armature, wanting to find local resources for supplies, or just hoping to connect with fellow makers, we would love to have you join us for a session.
