***This group is for children from kindergarten to grade 12 and their support people to learn how to build communication skills. All children under 18 MUST be accompanied by a support person (parent or guardian) who is 18 years or older at all times. ***

Conversation group for children from kindergarten to grade 12 who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to communicate either part-time or full-time and the people who support them. We will spend an hour having structured and unstructured chat with the support people being present to help the users in their own communication. Using activities and conversation starters with a part-time AAC user as host we will hopefully have good conversation and fun.
Please note you must first become a member of the Meetup group and then sign up for events. Due to the fact that there are children in attendance there are two steps to being able to come to a Meetup.
