What we’re about
This is a fun and educational small-group chocolate meetup for those who like to learn about and analyze their foods. No Snobs Allowed! Which means we just want kind inquisitive people who want to learn from one another. No judgement. No egos. Nothing to prove. Just come, learn, socialize, and have fun with other chocolate geeks.
The purpose is to experience new chocolate, understand the nuances of fine chocolate, socialize, meet new people, ask questions, and be curious.
How it works: Join an upcoming meetup here ($20) Each meetup is a bit different. We learn something new about the science of chocolate, learn about the chocolate we'll be tasting that day, and then analyze together as a group. We share our personal flavour experience with each other. There are no right answers. The goal is to simply listen to what your senses are telling you, and we have fun comparing how our results are similar or contrast.
Who is it for? All are welcome, from noob to connoisseur. This is simply a come-as-you-are meetup for those who love to learn about their food and want to geek with others. Can come just to one, or can come to multiple meetups.
The Host: I'm Geoseph, the host. I'm a professional in the chocolate realm for nearly 20 years. I'm a geek myself. I love fine chocolate, I love science, and I love discussing it with others. I don't like the hoity toity attitudes that fine chocolate may attract. My goal is to educate the public on fine chocolate in a way that is approachable, real, and genuine.
