Welcome to the Choctawhatchee Audubon Society!
We’re a friendly group dedicated to birds, wildlife, and their habitats. Join us for monthly programs in Niceville and bird walks at local hotspots in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned birder, all are welcome—families too! Come connect, learn, and explore with us!

Waterways of North Okaloosa County
Karick Lake South Campground, 7050 FL 189, Baker, FL, USWaterways of North Okaloosa County. Leader Doug Adkisson, (850) 902-6854. Meet at 7:30 AM at the Karick Lake South Campground. We will bird around Karick Lake, visit the Yellow River Water Management Area (Reedy Landing and Carroll Drive access points), and Crestview. Bring water and binoculars; wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a hat.
