vernissage | candid moments

Sarah Kiss is a designer and artist from Berlin. Her artistic focus is on the depiction of everyday moments and motifs that are often considered banal.
Her exhibition «Candid Moments» questions the perfectionism of modern photography and the value of images in a digital world. Through seemingly unsuccessful motifs, which bring the events before and after the photo to the fore with a humorous touch, the focus is on the authenticity of the depictions. Painting becomes a medium to emphasize the fragility of a fleeting moment in contrast to the permanent presentation of art.
The exhibition runs from November 1 to 28.
