## Overview

A relaxed Valentine’s Day singles meetup with yoga, guided connection, and real conversation. No apps, no pressure, just presence.
Valentine’s Day does not have to be loud, awkward, or swipe-driven.
This Valentine’s Day afternoon, Choose954 and The Heart Yoga Studio invite you to an intentional singles meet-up designed for real, human connection. With dating app burnout on the rise, this experience offers a relaxed, low-pressure way to meet face-to-face in a grounded, welcoming environment.

Led by Lesley Carney, Lead Teacher at The Heart, and Evan Snow, Co-Founder of Choose954, the experience blends gentle yin yoga, guided yoga nidra, light partner-based connection practices, and meaningful conversation to help everyone arrive calm, open, and present.
The group is intentionally small, limited to 15 men and 15 women ages 35–45. No apps. No speed dating. No forced matchmaking.
Just presence, conversation, and connection. And if you hit it off, you have the rest of Valentine’s Day to see where it leads.

## What to Expect

### Begin by Slowing Down Together

The experience opens with a grounding yin yoga practice and guided yoga nidra meditation led by Lesley Carney.

This opening segment is designed to help everyone arrive, settle their nervous systems, and release the pressure that often comes with dating.
Yin yoga is gentle, supported, and primarily on the ground. Yoga nidra follows, guiding participants into a deeply relaxed, meditative state so everyone enters the social portion feeling calm, open, and present.
No yoga experience required.

### Light Partner Yoga, Clearly Guided

From there, the group transitions into light, accessible partner yoga.
This is not acrobatic yoga. There is no lifting, no inversions, and no expectation of flexibility or prior experience.

Partner yoga is used here as a tool for connection, communication, and consent-based interaction.

Examples include:

• Seated back-to-back breathing to sync breath and build awareness
• Gentle seated twists using light, optional support
• Simple mirrored movements that encourage attunement and play
Everything is clearly explained, optional, and rooted in respect. Participants are always welcome to modify or opt out.
This portion helps break the ice naturally, without awkward small talk.

### Guided Conversation with Connection Cards

After movement, the experience flows into guided dialogue using thoughtfully designed Connection Cards.

These prompts invite meaningful conversation and genuine curiosity, helping participants move beyond surface-level exchanges and get to know one another in a real way.

Participants rotate through conversations so everyone has the opportunity to connect in a relaxed, supported environment.
No scripts. No performances. Just real dialogue.

### Mix, Mingle, and Continue the Connection

The final portion of the event opens into an unstructured mix and mingle.

This is time to reconnect with people you felt drawn to, continue conversations, and exchange contact information if there is mutual interest.

There are no public pairings, no pressure to match, and no forced outcomes.

If sparks fly, you have the rest of Valentine’s Day evening to explore where it leads.

## Giving Back: Yoga 4 Change

This is a donation-based event, with a suggested donation of $25. A portion of proceeds will benefit Yoga 4 Change – South Florida Chapter.

Yoga 4 Change is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making yoga and mindfulness accessible to underserved communities. Their trauma-informed programs bring movement, breath, and self-regulation tools into correctional facilities, recovery centers, and community organizations where access to wellness is often limited.

Supporting Yoga 4 Change aligns deeply with the intention of this experience: creating access, safety, and meaningful connection for all.
