What we’re about
Making friends as a grown man isn’t easy. Bars are hit or miss, big social events feel random, and it’s tough to find guys who actually follow through. Choros was built to fix that.
We’re a men’s social community powered by the Choros app, designed to help guys around DC build real friendships through small groups and shared activities.
You’ll join crews of three to six guys for things like trivia, hikes, TopGolf, board games, and brewery nights. Emma, our in-app assistant, handles the invites and logistics so you just show up.
We’ve hosted more than 150 small-group activities across DC, MD, and Northern Virginia. Some guys hang once or twice a month, others every week. The goal’s the same; meet good people and build something that lasts.
This isn’t a dating app or networking group. It’s a place to make genuine friends, stay active, and enjoy life a little more.
After you join the group, we’ll reach out with a quick message about how to join your first small-group hang through the Choros app. We host a free Happy Hour once a month as well that we'll invite you to through meetup.

DC Guy’s Happy Hour (Hosted by Choros)
Location not specified yetThis is our monthly guy’s happy hour, a relaxed spot to grab a drink, meet new guys, and see what Choros is all about.
Choros is a men’s social app that connects small groups of guys around DC for real-world hangs like trivia, hikes, TopGolf, board games, and brewery nights.
RSVP here, then fill out our quick questionnaire to join the app. The address and details for the happy hour will be shared inside the app once you’re in.
We keep events small and intentional so it’s easy to actually meet people. No networking, no awkward mixers, just good dudes, good conversations, and a better way to make friends in DC.
