Test Driven Development (TDD)

Test Driven Development (TDD) is well established as a beneficial approach in the software development industry. However, TDD is hard. TDD is often misunderstood. Often there is a link between these two. Alan Christensen is an experienced developer who has been through the phases of TDD adoption from misunderstanding to finding it difficult and/or time consuming to preferring it as a productive development technique. In this talk, Alan will start by building a baseline understanding of what he believes Test Driven Development is all about followed by a practical demonstration with live coding to illustrate these concepts. Finally he will go into some tips and tricks for dealing with the problems he has encountered practicing TDD and objections he has had or heard.
