How Design Thinking enables Digital Transformation

Vaughan Broderick has recently completed his MBA, with a focus on Design Thinking and the impact this can have within the social services sector. For Vaughan’s thesis, he looked at the digital transformation journey of Life Storybooks, a tool that helps carers understand more about the young person they are caring for. To ensure the success of the project, Vaughan followed design thinking, lean and change leadership methodologies, which he used to manage various stages of the project.

Vaughan has documented his journey which is now available for viewing at the Design Lab. If you haven’t been to the design lab previously, come along to see one of the best creative spaces we have in Christchurch. We’ll visit the Design Lab, check out some of the cool things happening there and then hear from Vaughn about his design thinking journey as he navigated this significant project.
