Details
Hello Streamers!
This event is part of the Confluent Developer LIVE series: This means that the event is a real-time run-through of a Confluent Developer course exercise, by a professional trainer.
And of course, as with all Confluent Community Events, it is free, purely technical, and educational.
So, join us on Monday, June 6th at 1:30pm SGT for this free hands-on training with a walkthrough exercise from the Building Data Pipelines course on Confluent Developer.

We will walk you through the signup process, but if you want to get prepared, you can join Confluent Cloud now and make the most of our promo code (CC60COMM) for new and current Cloud users (promo codes can be added in the payments page, once you’ve signed up)!!

Speaker:
Antonio Loma Daza, Sr. Technical Trainer, Confluent
Title:
Building Data Pipelines
Abstract:
In the context of Apache Kafka, a streaming data pipeline means ingesting the data from sources into Kafka as it's created and then streaming that data from Kafka to one or more targets. Because Kafka is a distributed system, it's highly scalable and resilient. By decoupling the source from the target, and by using Kafka to do this, we gain some great benefits.
Bio:
Antonio Loma Daza is a senior technical trainer at Confluent, working for EMEA from France. He works as course champion for Confluent Advance Administration course. A jack of all trades, Antonio has previously worked in industrial automatization, Linux administration, and enterprise-hardware support training.
