6:30 PM - Production for Non-Producers Talk

How can you use Scrum (without the culty-ness) and the principles of production to guide everyone onto the same page? Game development is an iterative, team-driven process where creative, technical, and bureaucratic minds all have to work together to create the best product they can. How do you guide a team, collaborate best together, and create a structure that is supportive, rigorous, and keeps things moving forward?

Sam Cook is a Co-Founder, Studio Director and Producer at Artifact 5, an indie game studio based in Montreal, Canada. Artifact 5 released its first title, Anamorphine, in Summer 2018 for PC, PS4 and VR. Her team is currently working on a rap-inspired logic game, Lucky Me. A5 also helps clients realize their game & interactive experiences ideas on mobile and VR. She previously worked at Behaviour Interactive. She has a BA in English Literature and a minor in Sexual Diversity Studies from McGill University.
