Speaker - David Mason
David Mason is a Māori music composer and sound designer from Waipu, Northland. David is currently the audio director at Saltworks, he was the music composer and sound designer for DREDGE by Black Salt Games. David is also a composer and sound designer for Strange Scaffold, and has worked on I Am Your Beast, Life Eater, TMNT: Tactical Takedown, and Creepy Redneck Dinosaur Mansion 3.

6:30 PM - Collaboration Between Devs and Audio Artists
David recounts experiences working on the audio for indie hit DREDGE, how he got involved and how the collaboration between him and the devs was fostered, and his experiences working on and shipping 5 titles with indie studio Strange Scaffold in the last year. David offers his thoughts on how best to collaborate with audio artists in the indie game scene, especially on tight budgets and timelines.
